What we do not collect

Calculations run in your browser. The balances, rates, and amounts you enter are not sent to us, not put in page links, and not saved between visits.

• No accounts or sign-up.
• No cookies. Financial inputs are never kept in browser storage; the only thing the site stores is your light or dark theme choice (see below).
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Fonts are served from the site itself.
• A Content Security Policy tells your browser to block pages on this site from opening outgoing network connections, so page code cannot send your inputs anywhere.

Inputs and scenario comparisons live in the open page only. Refreshing or leaving the page normally clears them, although some browsers restore form fields when you return with the Back button.

What the host processes

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, and timestamps, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. That data describes the request, not the numbers you type into a calculator. Cloudflare handles it under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics or any other analytics service.

Features that stay on your device

Downloading a CSV file creates the file in your browser and saves it wherever you choose. Printing uses your browser’s own print dialog. Neither sends anything to us.

If you pick a light or dark theme, that one choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (under the name ef-theme) so the next page opens in the same theme. It contains nothing else, it is never sent to us, and choosing “System” deletes it. Numbers you type into a calculator are never stored.

AI assistants in your browser

Some browsers can expose web pages to an AI assistant the visitor runs. Where that feature exists, the six original calculators (compound interest, savings goal, loan payment, extra payments, debt payoff, and loan comparison) offer it two tools: one reads the current inputs and result, and one fills in inputs and recalculates. This happens only through your browser and your assistant. The site itself sends nothing, and the assistant you use follows its own privacy practices.

Links to other sites

Methodology and source links lead to independent sites such as Investor.gov, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the FDIC. Their own privacy practices apply if you visit them. Your calculator inputs are never added to those links.

If you write to contact@evenfigures.com, we use your message and email address only to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your message for marketing.

Children

The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles information changes, this page will be updated before or when the change takes effect, and the date below will change.
